Doggie swim: The Cascade Swim Center pool will be open for dog baths 4-6 p.m. Sept. 3, the last day before its fall shutdown. Aggressive dogs are not allowed, and leashes are required on the pool deck. The cost is $10 for entry and wash. Proceeds benefit high school polo teams.
Ninja kids: For ages 5-8. Ninja Kids is a mixture of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, gymnastics and Parkour that teaches bully prevention and self defense. Kids are asked to bring a water bottle because the class is fast paced. Classes are 4-5 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Sept. 4-27, at Dojo Conditioning Studio. The cost is $62. Cage kids: For ages 9-11. The classes are designed to instill confidence and skill into kids. They include bully prevention, basic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, body awareness, fitness and gymnastics. Boxing: For ages 9 and up. The Dojo boxing program is for adults and children, women and men of all skill levels. Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: For ages 8-11. The class is designed to help children build respect for others, as well as themselves.
