Male athlete of the week

Nicky Tsai, Redmond swimming — Tsai won the 100-yard breaststroke and 200 individual medley at the Dec. 3 Raven Classic at Cascade Swim Center.

Female athlete of the week

Loryn Trail, Redmond swimming — Trail, who has already made the state meet twice, won the 200 freestyle at the Raven Classic with a time of two minutes, 20.29 seconds.

Game of the week

Boys basketball, Ridgeview 44, Crook County 36 — Ridgeview’s Austin Hampton scored 21 points in the Dec. 6 game. The Ravens pulled away by outscoring Crook County 20-6 in the fourth quarter.

What to watch for

Wrestling — Redmond and Ridgeview will both take part as the Ravens play host to the Adrian Irwin Memorial Tournament Friday and Saturday.
