Bring your own boat kayaking: Kayak enthusiasts can practice at the Cascade Swim Center pool from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 18. The cost is a $5 drop-in fee.

Midday recreational swim: For all ages. A noon to 2 p.m. swim at Cascade Swim Center for children out of school Dec. 19-23 and Dec. 25-30. A drop-in fee applies.

Men’s basketball: For ages 18 and up. Games will be played Monday and Wednesday nights at Obsidian Middle School, starting Jan. 9. The season ends with a single-elimination tournament. Baseball camp: For second through eighth graders. The Ridgeview baseball team will play host to a camp from 9 a.m.-noon Dec. 19 at Obsidian Middle School. The cost is $25. Registration will be available at the door or email jared.young@redmondschools.org for more information on advance registration.
