Central Christian Schools

A comprehensive prekindergarten-through-12th-grade school since 1998, CCS is accredited by ACSI and NAAS and provides education that stresses God and the Bible as focal points of all learning and living. CCS is a member of the Oregon Schools Activities Association, offering soccer, basketball and volleyball to grades 9-12.

St. Thomas Academy

St. Thomas offers a Catholic-based education for grades preK-5 in alignment with Oregon’s Core Academic Standards and is accredited by NWAC. The school is located adjacent to St. Thomas Catholic Church and hopes to add more grades as it grows.

Redmond Proficiency Academy

An accredited public charter school for grades 6-12, RPA serves students who want a more self-designed course of study or who seek a challenging college preparatory curriculum with a flexible schedule. The school’s administration is located in its downtown campus with grades 9-12. They recently built a new middle school building which houses grades 6-8 and their performing arts theater.

High Desert Montessori

Montessori method teaching curriculum offered at a private school for children six months to 12 years old. Teaching is focused on individualized understanding, removing tests and grades and replacing them with a number of practical application requirements in each subject. They opened fall of 2016.
