Juniper Golf Course is a city-owned course in Redmond that traces its history back to 1950. The course falls under the parks division of the Public Works Department, but is independently operated by a private management company.

The first drive on the original nine-hole official course was taken in 1952. The course grew in popularity and in 1987 was upgraded to an 18-hole course. In 2005, construction finished on Juniper’s new course, which is located on about 170 acres of land about two miles south of the fairgrounds. The club has a membership of nearly 400 and has received multiple honors through the years including being listed as one of the “Best Places to Play” and “Best Municipal Golf Course” in Oregon by Golf Digest. Although the focus remains on golf at Juniper, multiple community events are held on the course, including a 5K and annual block party. Its clubhouse features a newly renovated restaurant, The View, as well as a rent-able conference area.
