Redmond took five individual events in winning the team title at the Summit Invitational boys track meet on April 23.
The Panthers’ 100.25 points was good enough to edge out second-place Hood River Valley, which finished with 98.75 points.
Jacoby McNamara had the best time in the state so far this year in winning the 200-meter dash in 21.44 seconds. McNamara also won the 100 meters in 10.78 seconds.

Troutman’s long jump of 23 feet, 33/4 inches was good enough for first place by more than a foot.

The Panthers then take part in the Nike Jesuit Twilight Relays at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Portland and the Dick Baker Invitational at 11:15 a.m. Saturday in Gladstone.
