Male athlete of the week

Alani Troutman, Redmond track — Troutman won the 110-meter hurdles, the high jump and the triple jump in Redmond’s 101-41 dual meet victory over Bend on March 30.

Female athlete of the week

Gabrielle Crouch, Ridgeview track — Crouch bested a 37-girl field at the April 2 Medford Rotary Relays with a long jump of 15 feet, 7 inches. She also finished third in the long jump at a March 30 dual meet with nine-time defending state champion Summit, jumping 16 feet, 5.5 inches.

Game of the week

Ridgeview boys and girls tennis teams defeat Hood River Valley — The Raven boys won their April 2 meeting 8-0, and the Raven girls won 6-2.

What to watch for

Redmond and Ridgeview golf — Redmond and Ridgeview will meet up in both boys and girls golf this week. The girls play Thursday in a tournament at Meadow Lakes Golf Course in Prineville, while the boys meet Friday at Juniper Golf Course in Redmond and again Monday at Bend Golf and Country Club.
