Redmond High’s boys basketball team evened its Intermountain Conference record with back-to-back victories last week.

The Panthers (5-10, 2-2) won 59-54 Jan. 19 at Ridgeview before winning 68-64 against Bend on Jan. 22 at home. Cody Moss led Redmond with 15 points in each game.

Bend jumped out to a 21-8 lead after the first quarter in Friday’s game, but Redmond cut the margin to three points at halftime.

The Panthers closed the game with a 25-point fourth quarter to seal the victory. Nick Aamodt scored 14 points in the victory, while Derek Brown added eight.

After fighting back from a 0-2 conference start, the Panthers had a chance to pull into a second-place tie going into their Jan. 26 home game with Summit. Redmond plays again at 7 p.m. Friday at Mountain View.
