Ridgeview High’s girls basketball team ended a nine-game losing streak last week and started a two-game winning streak.

The Ravens defeated Summit 37-35 on Jan. 12 to get their first Intermountain Conference victory. Hosanna Wilder scored 13 points and Sailor Woodward added 11.

Ridgeview (5-10, 2-1) wasn’t finished. The Ravens had a winning conference record after besting Mountain View 64-53 on Jan. 15. Wilder and Woodward scored 18 points each in a game in which the Ravens also collected 20 offensive rebounds.

The victory put Ridgeview in a tie with Summit atop the conference standings.

Ridgeview won’t play again until its Jan. 27 meeting at Bend.
